The Birdy has full suspension. This means: great handling,
high comfort and on top of that, you can fold it! The dual function of the swingarm pivot
points is unique to the Birdy. By employing them for both suspension and folding, it was
possible to avoid a pivot in the main frame. With a quick fold (15 seconds) and small
folded size of 30x23x11 inches (76x58x28cm), and low weight (from 9.8kg) the Birdy is easy
to carry and stow. It is completely portable, efficient for transporting on buses, trains,
cars, aeroplanes and boats. In recent years the Birdy has established its position as the
folding bike. The Birdy is now available from distributors in Europe, Japan and the US,
thus enabling you to service your bike world-wide.
For this year the Birdy has once again been further improved. The main frame and rear
swingarm have been stiffened, guaranteeing direct power transfer as you ride.
